Mercy Heart Center Offers Healthy Holiday Cooking Program

Canton, OH:  Mercy Heart Center will offer a FREE healthy holiday cooking program, Holiday Lites, to the community on Thursday, December 5, inside Mercy Hall Auditorium at 1320 Mercy Dr. NW in Canton. This program begins at noon and will teach participants how to make healthier versions of their favorite holiday foods. 

Holiday Lites will include taste testing, healthy holiday recipes and a presentation by dietician, Kathy Wise, RDN, LD, LWC, CWP.  Wise is director of Mercy Weight Management, OPTIFAST® and Employee Health & Wellness at Mercy Medical Center. Mercy Heart Center is offering this program as part of its partnership with the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women initiative.  Holiday Lites is just one of many heart-related community programs and events offered by Mercy Heart Center during 2013.
