Mercy Heart Center Offers Educational CPR Program June 19

Canton, OH: CPR can DOUBLE, even TRIPLE, a victim’s chance of survival. To help the community learn the core skills of CPR, Mercy Heart Center is offering an educational event on Wednesday, June 19th at two convenient times and locations. These CPR programs, utilizing the American Heart Association’s Family & Friends® CPR Anytime® Personal Learning Program will be held at the following locations:

Mercy Health Center of Jackson
7337 Caritas Circle NW, Massillon
(2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.)

Mercy Medical Center
Mercy Hall Auditorium
1320 Mercy Drive NW, Canton
(6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.)
 

Attendees will learn CPR techniques and receive a free, take-home CPR Anywhere Kit® from the American Heart Association.
 

 
This is not a certification course, however, the knowldege can be passed on through the community to spread awareness of basic techniques. 
Participants will also be deputized through the Deputy Early Heart Attack Care Giver Program and receive a “Heart Attacks Have Beginnings” badge.
