Mercy Health Run Classic Set For May 22

North Canton, Ohio: As part of Mercy Medical Center’s commitment to the promotion of health and physical fitness in the community, Mercy Sports Medicine will once again host the annual Mercy Health Run Classic Saturday, May 22. This 5K road-race will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the start and finish at Mercy Health Center of North Canton, located at 6200 Whipple Avenue NW. The health run has a new course, and the hill is gone. A free 0.6 mile kids fun run will take place at 8 a.m. Children of all ages are welcome to participate, and all finishers will receive a goody bag.



This year’s race will feature a raffle among all participants to win two AirTran roundtrip tickets or four VIP seats for any event at the Wolstein Center at Cleveland State University. Mercy Health Run Classic also offers a $50 gift certificate to Second Sole for any male or female who sets a new course record, free post-race massages and great food and beverages.



Participants can register for $20 online at ohiochallengeseries.com or by paper registration if received at Mercy Sports Medicine by 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 20. Same Day registration begins at 7 a.m., and the cost is $25. All pre-registered runners will receive a Mercy Health Run t-shirt. The top three overall female and male finishers and top three finishers in each age group will receive an award.
