Canton, OH: Mercy Cardiovascular Institute (MCI) welcomes Simonette Jones, M.D., a non-invasive cardiologist, and James Maloney, M.D., an electrophysiologist, to its active medical staff. 

Jones graduated from Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. She completed her internal medicine residency at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA, and cardiology training at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. Jones is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease. She has special interest in heart failure, coronary artery disease and hypertension.
 
Maloney has been a recognized leader in the field of electrophysiology throughout the nation for many years. He most recently served as director of the Center for Atrial Fibrillation at the University of Toledo Medical Center, director of Electrophysiology Laboratory, Department of Cardiology, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and director of Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology, Department of Cardiology, Mayo Medical School. Maloney has also held many teaching positions and roles of leadership in numerous cardiology professional societies and advisory committees. Maloney is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease.
