Massillon Resident, Anthony Ross, Honored As Star Performer Employee of the Year at Mercy Medical Center

Canton, OH - Congratulations to Massillon resident, Anthony Ross, of Mercy Medical Center’s Patient Transport department, for being named Mercy’s Star Performer of the Year for 2012. The Star Performer program is the hospital’s employee recognition and rewards program. Hospital employees, volunteers and staff are nominated each month for demonstrating outstanding performance, being a team player, going “above and beyond”, being creative and innovative and championing service excellence. Ross was chosen as the Star Performer of the Month last February, and was recently selected from the 2012 candidates as the overall Star Performer of the Year.

He has received numerous nominations throughout 2012 complimenting his cheerful personality and his sensitivity to patients’ needs. He is noted for putting patients at ease and for always having a smile and a kind word to say to everyone he meets. Ross was recognized by Mercy President & CEO, Tom Cecconi, during a recent leadership meeting for his Star Performer designation.
