Dance for Fitness
North Canton, Ohio: Mercy Health & Fitness Center is offering a new class for seniors this fall. Incorporating different styles of dance, instructor Jack Wadsworth will teach a variety of steps while helping you increase your fitness level. The class will be held from 10–11 a.m. on Tuesdays, Sept. 8, 15, 22 and 29 at Mercy Health & Fitness Center, located at 6200 Whipple Ave. N.W. in North Canton. The cost is $40 for four classes.
Wadsworth has studied tap, jazz and ballet in New York and Chicago and has taught dance for over 30 years. He taught MASTERS classes in jazz and tap at Akron University and was a choreographer for the Canton Player’s Guild, Miss Ohio and Miss America Pageants. Wadsworth recently instructed the Waltz to participants in a heart failure study at Mercy Medical Center.
