Canton, OH - Congratulations to Canton resident, Maggie Turpin, Mercy Environmental Services, for being named Mercy’s Star Performer employee for April 2013. The Star Performer program is the hospital’s employee recognition and rewards program. Hospital employees, volunteers and staff are nominated each month for demonstrating outstanding performance, being a team player, going “above and beyond”, being creative and innovative and championing service excellence.

Turpin’s nomination complimented her compassion and understanding toward patients and their loved ones. She was nominated for going “above and beyond” by those who have noticed her dedication to patient care and genuine concern for everyone she serves. Her caring acts are truly appreciated by patients and co-workers alike. She has been an employee at Mercy since 2012 and was presented with her award by Mercy President & CEO, Thomas E. Cecconi.
