Medicare Options

As Mercy’s Medicare counselor, Senior Friends coordinator and Stark County Coordinator for Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP), Terri Gursky reviews Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plans. She says determining what’s right for an individual (not a couple) is a mathematical equation based on health, current prescriptions and personal needs, and it may change from year to year.
Gursky recommends that eligible Medicare enrollees visit Medicare.gov to compare available health plans using the site’s search tools. Enrollees can also attend a Mercy Medicare Options event (download flyer by clicking image below), which includes representatives from several different advantage plans.
