Mercy Homecare
Homecare in the Comfort of Your Own Home
Sometimes the best medicine can be the comfortable, familiar surroundings of your own home. That’s why Mercy Homecare provides quality and compassionate home health services to promote recovery, rehabilitation and maximum independence 24–hours a day, seven days a week.
Mercy Homecare offers skilled nursing, rehabilitative therapy, home health aides, nutrition counseling, social services and pastoral care. As the first in Stark County to offer telemonitoring, Mercy Homecare clinicians can monitor patients with chronic disease – such as heart failure, diabetes and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder – in between their regularly scheduled visits.
The Ohio keystone Peer Review Organization (KePRO) identified Mercy Homecare as one of the top 10 homecare agencies in Ohio for reducing the percentage of patients requiring re–hospitalization.
In 2007, OCS, Inc., a leading post–acute healthcare information company, released its HomeCare Elite list, naming Mercy Homecare among the 500 best–performing home health care agencies in the U.S. This places Mercy in the nation’s top 10 percent in homecare services.
