Explorer Post # 1001
Medical Explorer Post
What is Exploring
Exploring is the young adult program of the Boy Scouts of America for men and women 14 to 21 years of age. Local community organizations such as businesses, professional organizations, churches, and civic groups initiate specific Explorer Posts. They do this by matching the interests of young adults with the people and program resources within their own organizations.
Program:
The Medical Explorers program begins in October and runs through May with a minimum of one meeting per month. Health care professionals speaking, tours of various areas and hands on learning make up our monthly meetings.
Membership Requirements:
- Age 14 (and have completed the eighth grade) through 21 years old
- Payment of an annual membership fee of $10.00
- Interest in a health career
