Concern - Employee Assistance Program

Concern is an employer-sponsored, hospital-based program that has been providing Mental / Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse services for the Stark/Summit/ Tuscarawas business community since 1982.

Concern is part of a nationally renowned health system – Mercy Medical Center – that is committed to patient care, research, and medical education. Concern provides comprehensive, confidential, and professional counseling services and management consultation to 28 local work organizations. Our focus is on prevention and wellness, health and productivity management, and improved quality of life for all employees and their families.

Experienced EAP specialists help identify and resolve personal concerns such as marital and family problems, anger and conflict, divorce, grief and loss, trauma, parenting, job stress, alcohol or drug abuse, depression, anxiety and workplace conflict.

Assisting Employers and Employees is our primary business. Our EAP professionals are licensed and experienced Master and Doctoral level counselors because research has proven that the quality of provider is the major factor in the effectiveness of counseling.
